Community Workshops Workshops and educational seminars are held through cooperative extension services and many other organizations throughout metro Atlanta. These organizations also offer brochures and other resources that will help you to educate family members, co-workers and others in your community. These activities enable residents to life in a cleaner environment and help you to teach people about water pollution and the simple steps that people can take to keep waterways clean. Statewide Organizations
Adopt-A-Stream Stream cleanups, monitoring and visual stream surveys are just some of the activities that Adopt-A-Stream has to offer. Participating in activities such as Adopt-A-Stream projects to cleanup a stream not only teaches a "hands on lesson", but benefits the community as well.
Keep Georgia Beautiful Citizens around metro Atlanta can participate in road cleanups, storm drain stenciling, soil sampling, recycling days or other special activities sponsored by local Clean and Beautiful groups.
